RCT Kit for ClO₂

Raven's Culture Test (RCT) kit for Chlorine Dioxide sterilization is designed specifically for use with Chlorine Dioxide sterilization. The RCT Kit for ClO₂ consists of 25 spore strips and 25 tubes of culture media conveniently packaged together. 

The spore strips provided are packaged in Tyvek/Tyvek^® pouches so that each side is permeable to the sterilant.  Lot number and expiry are printed on each pouch. Each lot’s specific resistance to Chlorine Dioxide is documented on the Certificate of Analysis accompanying each order.

Contents:

• 25 Bacillus atrophaeus¹  half-sized spore strips with a nominal population of 1.0 X 10⁶ cfu/strip in Tyvek/Tyvek^® pouches.
• 25 test tubes (16mm x 75mm) modified Soybean Casein Digest broth (approximately 8ml fill) recovery media with Bromocresol Purple acid indicator.

Certification

Raven’s spore strips are certified for Purity, Resistance and Population. Media is manufactured and tested to meet USP and NCCLS sterility and growth promotion guidelines. Resistance and Population are provided with the Certificate of Analysis accompanying each order. Raven’s products are manufactured in accordance with USP Guidelines and the US Food and Drug Administration’s Quality System Regulations.
