ProChem SSW Steam Sterilization Integrator is a single use Class 5 Integrating Indicator which complies with ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-1:2005 and ANSI/AAMI ST60:1996. It integrates three essential criteria for proper steam sterilization: time, temperature, and steam. When processed along with a load it indicates, with a margin of safety, whether the proper steam sterilization criteria have been achieved. ProChem SSW Integrators were tested in a BIER (Biological Indicator Evaluator Resistometer) vessel at various time and temperature intervals in order to estimate the time required at each temperature to reach the accept window. Use ProChem SSW Class 5 Integrators in 118-135°C gravity, flash or pre-vacuum cycles.

ProChem EXT is a Class 5 Integrating Indicator (Integrator) that is designed to accurately depict the lethality of steam sterilization cycles at 121°C (250°F) and 135°C (275°F). ProChem EXT changes from its green color to black upon exposure to adequate sterilization conditions for 7 minutes at 135°C and 20 minutes at 121°C representing an overkill or extended cycle.

Intended for use in steam sterilizers 121°C or 132-135°C. Not intended to replace regular BI testing. When used as directed, ProChem EXT integrator strips provide immediate visual confirmation of adequate steam penetration into packs. During exposure to steam, the indicator strip turns from green to black. If the strip becomes as dark or darker than the color standard, sterilization conditions were met at point of placement.

ProChem EXT is packaged with 250 integrators per box. Use ProChem EXT in conjunction with BIs as described in current AAMI Standards and Recommended Practices: Good Hospital Practice: Steam Sterilization and Sterility Assurance. Use according to instructions on box.

Use ProChem SSIs to verify adequate steam penetration into every pack/pouch. The indicator ink changes from white to black during steam sterilization. Tests have shown that ProChem SSIs complete their color change at a time equivalent to or beyond the time needed to kill Biological Indicators. (Data available upon customer request) Use according to instructions. ProChem SSIs are packaged 250 per box, with 16 boxes per case.

This product is manufactured in an FDA registered facility pursuant to FDA Quality System Regulations (QSRs). ProChem SSE (Steam Sterilization Emulator) is an AAMI/ISO Class 6 Chemical Emulating Indicators designed for use in steam sterilization.

ProChem SSE is unique in that it is intended for use with multiple steam sterilization cycles: 3.5 minutes at 135°C (275°F) and 4 minutes at 132°C (270°F).

Place a Raven ProChem SSE strip in each pack, peel-pouch or tray for sterilization. Place strip at a location in the package considered most difficult for steam to reach.

When used as directed, the Raven ProChem SSE Emulating Indicator strips give visual confirmation that sterilization conditions were met at the point of placement in the sterilizer chamber. After cycle is complete, visually verify that the indicator bar has turned from purple to green. If the indicator bar is not green, it suggests inadequate sterilization conditions at point of placement.

O.K. Cycle 121

The Raven O.K. Cycle 121 multispot Chemical Integrator strips are designed for use in pre-vacuum steam sterilizers operating at 121° C and at 134°C (ISO 11140-1:2005 compliant as a Class 5 Integrator). Used as directed the Raven O.K. Cycle 121 integrator strips give visual confirmation that sterilization conditions were met at point of placement in the sterilizer chamber. During steam sterilization, the four indicators spots change from purple to green.

For 121°C cycles, verify that indicator spots 1, 2, and 3 have changed from purple to green. Spot 4 will change to green in sterilization cycles exceeding 35 minutes.

For 134° C cycles, verify that indicator spots 1 and 2 have changed from purple to green. Spot 3 changes to green after spot 2 giving the user more information about the cycle. See critical parameters chart. Spot 4 will change to green in sterilization cycles exceeding 12 minutes.
